Having Neanderthal genes, I am prone to corns and callouses, if I am to believe an article I had recently read in "New Scientist". So these Visco gel toes sleeves come in very handy, as my little toes develop corns within a day or two of wearing ill-fitting shoes, of which I have too many. The sleeves are very comfortable and so far do the trick, protecting my delicate little toes from rubbing and wear and tear. My only criticism is that the sleeves are quite pricy for as small and simple as they are.
